Meditation
Meditation has been practiced in the East for thousands of years but only recently has the West embraced it (after scientific studies proved its effectiveness)
Its benefits are calming the mind therefore calming the body. Whilst prayer can be thought of speaking to God ,Meditation is often thought of as listening to God.
One of the lesser known things about group meditation is that there is far greater power in group meditation where a common intention is set is far more more powerful.
An experiment conducted during the Lebanon war in the 1980s showed that when 1,000 people in Jerusalem meditated on world peace, war deaths in Lebanon went down by over 75%. Not only did war deaths go down, but crime and other destructive happenings also went down on the days the group meditated.
Many more experiments have produced similar positive results and with the coronavirus pandemic in full swing imagine how good you will feel to be helping the world get past it.
Reiki
Reiki is probably less well known than meditation.
It is pure and simply positive Life force energy from our connection to the universe and the Divine.
Once again by setting intention this energy can be called on and the energy will be applied at the physical and emotional levels.
It can be used to move bad energy being stored oil the body and allow Mother Earth to take it for you.
Crystals
Crystals are rocks that formed very close to the beginning of the Earth. They formed in different ways that mean they respond to energies in different ways - some absorb energy from you and some amplify so between them they are so valuable to the energy mix in the world.
We will be using ones that amplify in these sessions and are matched to the energy centres not only in our physical bodies but the connecting points both with the Divine and Mother Earth (Gaia)
Sounds
Sound is pure energy and the frequency of it makes all the difference. In music you may be familiar with how certain music can make you sad and some can lift you. This can just be the musical chords that are used. Songs in Minor keys are often thought to be less uplifting than songs in Major keys.
The sounds that we will be working with the are neither they are pure frequencies that have associations with the Universe. For example one of the frequencies we will work with is the frequency of Love itself.
Shapes
We will also use some of the sacred universal shapes to work with the crystals. For instance the Pyramids were not built in that shape by accident it was because that is one of the sacred shapes of the Universe.
It symbolises energy pointing back to the Stars. Interestingly the sacred shape associated with the heart is an Octahedron which is 2 pyramids joined at the base and therefore symbolises energy flowing both up and down which is exactly what the heart does in its pumping blood out through the arteries and receiving it back through the veins to complete the cycle.
Leonardo Davinci was famously working with both the arts and science simultaneously and some of his works involved ratios that have only been understood recently such as there are ratios within your body that mean if this is so long then your forearm will be this long etc. This ratio came to be known as the golden ratio. One of the sacred shapes is called the Merkaba and it is the extension in all directions of Davinci's wheel of man because it was all about the same thing.
